From Science to Shelf

Pharma & Wellness

Pharmaceutical and wellness packaging must do far more than attract attention. It must communicate credibility, organize critical information and function seamlessly across cartons, blisters, bottles, tubes, and labels.

At Wintorque, packaging design is approached as a strategic interface between brand, science, and regulation. We create design systems that balance brand clarity, regulatory logic, and real-world packaging formats.

Practical Questions Clients Often Ask

1. What types of companies do you typically work with?
Wintorque works with pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, wellness, and personal care brands. Our clients include established pharmaceutical companies, healthcare manufacturers, and cosmetic brands launching, developing, or expanding product portfolios.

2. When is the best stage to involve a packaging design partner?
Ideally at the brief stage. Early involvement helps clarify category conventions, competitive positioning, and packaging structure before design directions are finalized.

3. What information do you need to begin a packaging design project?
Typically the product brief, keyline drawing, ingredient information, pack sizes, regulatory text (such as directions for use, warnings, and manufacturer details), and any existing brand guidelines.

4. What is the typical turnaround time for a packaging design project?
If all required information is available, the concept-to-design stage can move quickly. However, pharmaceutical packaging projects often take longer due to internal reviews involving brand, regulatory, compliance, and manufacturing teams.

5. Do you create physical mock-ups or packaging samples?
We provide high-quality 3D digital mock-ups for concept evaluation and approvals. If physical samples are required, we coordinate with trusted packaging vendors. The cost of sample production is borne by the client.

6. Who owns the copyright to the packaging design?
All projects are treated as work-for-hire. The client who commissions the work owns the final packaging design and related assets.

7. How do you ensure confidentiality?
We work with reputable organizations that follow formal engagement processes. As registered vendors, we sign NDAs, MOUs, or contracts when required and adhere to the confidentiality policies set by our clients. Trust is mutual—one client’s work, market strategy, or product plans are never shared with another, and projects are not featured in our portfolio until they are publicly launched.
